What Is Dutchy's Giving Table?
The Giving Table is the non profit arm of Dutchy's, a community focused initiative dedicated to supporting South African expats and immigrants as they find their footing in the United States, while also giving back to the people who serve and protect our local community here in Plantation.
We know firsthand how challenging and overwhelming it can feel to start a new life in a new country. The Giving Table exists to be a soft landing, a helping hand, a warm meal, and a familiar reminder that no matter how far from home someone is, they still belong to a family.
Supporting South African Immigrants and Expats
Every year, families arrive in the United States with big dreams, fears, confusion, and sometimes no one to turn to. Through The Giving Table we:

Honoring Our Local Heroes: First Responders
While our roots are proudly South African, our commitment begins here at home in Plantation.
The Giving Table supports and celebrates our local first responders, the officers, firefighters, paramedics and other everyday heroes who show up for us without hesitation.
Whether we are sponsoring meals, dropping off goodies during long shifts, or serving South African delicacies at community events like National Night Out, we believe in saying thank you in the most meaningful way we know: by showing up with generosity and heart.
