Instructions

Recommended Braai/Grill Preparation Instructions: If frozen, thaw completely in the refrigerator before cooking. Remove packaging and braai/grill over medium heat, turning gently with tongs for even cooking. Avoid direct flames and do not prick or cut the casing while grilling, to help retain the juices. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 160°F, measured with a meat thermometer.

Alternative Pan-Fry Preparation: If frozen, thaw completely in the refrigerator. Remove packaging and place in a frying pan with a small amount of oil over medium-low heat. Cook gently, turning regularly with tongs, until evenly browned and the internal temperature reaches 160°F, measured with a meat thermometer. Avoid pricking or cutting the casing while cooking to help retain the juices. Reduce the heat if the outside browns too quickly.

Storage Instructions: Keep frozen for longer storage or refrigerated at 40°F or below for use within 1–2 days. Once thawed in the refrigerator, cook within 1–2 days. Do not thaw at room temperature.
